7 Yoga Trends for 2021

We think of yoga as static but it is forever changing. Yoga is constantly developing new trends and diverse practices. What will be the next Yoga Trends for this year?

Naked Yoga

Naked Yoga:

Is naked yoga going to take off globally? What makes naked yoga different from regular yoga? Will naked Yoga become one the 7 Yoga trends in 2021.

Read on for the naked truth. No one can say when naked yoga was first conceived.

It has become more popular, and it is not likely to be a fade away into obscurity. Naked Yoga is inexpensive to start up as it requires even less equipment, all that’s required is a mat on which to do asanas. Other yoga trends, have come and gone, but naked yoga has been around at least since the 1960s.

There is no place to hide while practicing naked yoga. Many naked yoga supporters claim that performing yoga naked is something that cannot be understood unless it is experienced.

Instead of the expected distraction concerning the naked state, many devotees claim the effect is just the opposite; a completely internal experience. There is no place to hide while practicing naked yoga you need to feel comfortable in your skin before trying this style of yoga.

Those who have been doing naked yoga have said that they could not go back to doing it with clothes on. Could this be for you? I couldn’t say, but as far as I am concerned, maybe best to practice at home first in private.

Aerial Yoga

Anti-Gravity Yoga:

The latest yoga trend sweeping across the world is AntiGravity Yoga which involves climbing into a hammock and allowing it to act as a soft trapeze, supporting you as you practice your yoga poses while suspended in the midair.

Using additional concepts from dance, Pilates and calisthenics, AntiGravity yoga is being hailed as a complete workout which is also great for relieving compressed joints and aligning the body from head to toe.

What a unique way for anyone who wants a yoga experience like no other.

Orkin Designed For The Future Of Yoga:

Imagine a laptop so portable, you could roll it up like a yoga mat and carry it tucked under your arm with an attached strap. Now you don’t have to imagine; this is the concept behind the Rolltop laptop from Orkin Design.

Laptops are being built smaller and smaller for consumers on the go.

The Orkin Design Rolltop is currently in the design phase; there’s no word as to when the laptop will enter production.

The Orkin Design Rolltop is a laptop that can be rolled up so you can easily transport it to and from work, school or wherever else your heart desires.

As you unroll it, you get a laptop with a 13-inch screen.

Orkin Design used flexible touch-screen technology so that a screen could be rolled out from a casing that looks like a yoga mat and be plugged directly into a power outlet.

The strap of the Orkin Design Rolltop bag doubles as the power cord.

The casing also has speakers, a camera, USB ports and a LAN port.

The Rolltop laptop incorporates energy-efficient flexible OLED technology and a multi-touch screen.

Flattened out, it becomes a graphics tablet for use with the enclosed stylus pen.

On the back the Rolltop laptop is a stand that can be pulled out into a 17-inch display for viewing videos.

A webcam, loudspeaker and power/data supply are included in the core cylinder.

As online yoga becomes even more popular a product like this will be of excellent assistance for the newbie yoga practitioner.

Yogamatic

This Mat Is Yogamatic:

For the yoga practitioner who thinks they have every product out there, you’re going to love yogamatic.com.

At this website, you can select an existing yoga mat design from the gallery, or design your own.

The mats are eco-friendly, meaning they are made from 100% degradable materials, the company offers a sensible disposal policy for worn mats and the inks used on the mats are water based and solvent free.

Your customized yoga mat will take 5 days, and prices start at $86–with a percentage of the sales going to the “Global Green” initiative.

The hardest part is selecting a design for your yoga mat–because there’s so many great designs in the gallery to choose from.

You could choose to upload a photo to be used as the backdrop instead!

just my mat

All the yoga mats are made from eco-friendly materials and are personalized.

What’s better than a green gift with your name on it?

They have colors like Serene green mats and Aloha orange thread.

It’s a great idea and will probably be on a lot of gift wish lists this year.

bed of nails

Lying On A Bed Of Nails:

Have you ever considered what it would be like to lie on a bed of nails, now you can stop wondering with the Bed of Nails Relaxation Mat.

It isn’t as torturous as it sounds, Instead, it looks more like a standard yoga mat.

Yet the Bed of Nails Relaxation Mat is more than just a yoga mat. It features “230 little circular plastic tees which each include 28 ‘nails’ for a grand total of 6,440 pressure points.

That means improved circulation, decreased muscle tension, improved digestion and increased endorphins.

Sounds and feels good to me.

YogaTube:

There are many Yoga classes that can be held in a virtual yoga studio that you can access from the comfort of your own home.

Members of any virtual yoga studio are able to take a class with a certified instructor over the Internet.

The web conference will let the instructor see you and the four other people in the class.

Yoga classes are held over the Internet, all you need is a computer, web-cam and some space.

You can literally take Yoga classes anywhere in the world!

Group classes are held on a daily basis.

Not sure I would give the naked yoga a go. Maybe at home to see how it goes.

  2. I appreciate you have out lined what we will need when we get started with yoga. And it’s nice to get to know what is trending in the yoga world. I’ll give the yoga anti-gravity a try. I am excited about the idea and I liked those clothes that enable us to hang in the air and do poses.
