PrAna Review

PrAna is a large clothing company that promotes its business in a sustainable way. My website is a yoga website and i want to promote yoga products that are environmentally friendly. As far as I’m concerned PrAna fits the bill.

This review will look at the PrAna product and the affiliate links you can obtain by promoting their products online. Remember, it isn’t just about the clothes that you wear, it is about how you wear them.

This is always going to be good for your ego, and good for you in general. There is simply no better way of ordering your clothes than online today. This way of buying clothes is gaining more internet users every day.

I know I’m one that has done so and very happy in doing so. You know that the kind of clothing that you wear can say a lot about you. Not everyone can afford high priced designer clothing, but what is most important is finding the clothing that fits you right.

This means that you have to know how to find the right size clothing for you, and how to wear it. You can find the clothing that you are looking for, and you can order it rights online.

This is a great way to make sure that you have the clothing that you want and that you are finding it at prices that meet with your highest expectations. And the savings don’t stop their.

Not only do online stores have great clothing that you can buy right online, which is quick and easy, but you can also read reviews about certain types of clothing to see if it is going to be right for you.

You can see what other people, with bodies similar to you own, have to say about the clothing.

For example, if you want to stay away from clingy clothing and notice a review on a dress claims the fabric is quite “clingy” you might not want to purchase it.

Ordering online clothing today is one of the most enjoyable things that you can do. To figure out how a clothing brand will fit you, check out the individual brand sizing charts.

Every clothing company sizes their clothing a bit different.

You may find that some brands “run large” or “run small” and know to buy according to what you’ve experienced before with the company brand.

However, if you’ve never ordered from a company before, you may want to order one shirt and one pair of pants and note the cut and fit when you receive them.

Ordering it this way is a great way to do it because you are going to be able to find that your clothes will come in the mail and you’ll simply have what you want.

Fair Trade Certified™

PrAna became the first North American apparel brand to produce Fair Trade Certified™ clothing, they have given back $400,000+ to 33,000+ workers worldwide.

Their Supply Chain has a responsibility to know where their products are coming from, what they are made of and the conditions of the places where they are made to ensure compliant, responsible conditions across the supply chain and safe products.

Cotton with a Conscience Ethically-made clothing should be the standard in the apparel industry.

But what does it mean when a product is ethically made?

It means they consider the impact of their actions and let their values guide them when making decisions with thirour clothing.

Organic cotton is a great example of our efforts to support ethically-made clothing.

It uses less water, uses rainwater more efficiently, eliminates GMOs and harmful chemicals from your closet, and so much more.

3 Reasons To Vote For Organic Cotton With Your Next Purchase:

People > Clothing Farmers and their families are no longer exposed to harmful chemicals.

Soil > Clothing Regenerate life and biodiversity in the soil to improve the health of our planet.

Water > Clothing Save 115 gallons of water when you switch one t-shirt to organic cotton.

Organic Cotton FAQs:

How do you certify your organic cotton?

Any organic content claim we make can be certified to either the OCS or the GOTS standard.

We do not currently standardized all of our products to the same standard because we allocate organic cotton through different supply chains.

We have given our suppliers some flexibility to become compliant. What is used for fertilizer and pest controls In organic cotton farms/production?

The US government has a short list of naturally occurring (non synthetic) and synthetic materials allowed as fertilizers for the commercial organic production.

Alternate ways that farmers protect their land range from crop rotations to structural pest management.

Each farm will be a little different, but as long as they are in compliance with national laws, they will obtain certification How does growing organic cotton reduce water usage?

Organic Cotton typically has a higher yield and equal/superior quality to conventional grown cotton, therefore supporting the statement that it reduces water usage.

Additionally, the soil prep requirements for organic farming can increase the water-holding capacity within the land. How much water can I really save by switching to organic cotton?

Replace one conventional cotton tee with an organic cotton tee, and you save 115 gallons of water. That’s the same amount of water as letting the average shower run for nearly an hour.

How long has prAna been using organic cotton? Since the early 2000s.

Our founders attended a sustainable textile conference where they met organic cotton suppliers.

On the way home from that conference, they called HQ and made the switch to organic cotton on as many styles as they could.

Just like that. For them, it was an easy choice. The right choice.

After the successful launch of this initial effort with organic cotton, they tested and perfected the process, always pushing to make an even bigger impact on the apparel industry.

They gathered up all the learning and resources and our dedicated team and defined an initiative in 2014 to have all cotton usage at prAna be organic by 2019.

Positive Change Through Clothing:

They don’t leave sustainability to chance, we work hard to ensure we’re continuing to have a positive impact on the planet and its people.

The values that forged the creation of prAna still ring true here today. This isn’t just an initiative, and we aren’t just getting started.

They have got a long way to go, but we believe this is the right thing to do for our planet, our oceans, and our land. Make the switch today, support organic cotton with your next purchase.

3 Reasons To Ask For Recycled Wool:

Respects Animal Welfare

Eliminate further impact and risk to the animal’s health and safety. Diverts Waste from Landfill Reuses perfectly good material instead of throwing it away.

Eliminate dyes, chemicals, and wastewater (by-products of virgin wool) from the process. Reduces Environmental Impact Reduce land use for animal grazing and reduce the release of methane.

Reduces overall energy consumption by cutting down on the amount of processing needed to make the fibers usable.

Using recycled wool greatly reduces the need for water, dyes and chemicals, and energy compared to the process used for virgin wool.

Recycled Wool FAQs:

What is the difference between virgin wool and recycled wool? Virgin wool is sheared from sheep.

Recycled wool is reclaimed from textile waste and unwanted or discarded garments. By using recycled wool, they can eliminate the direct impact on the sheep.

Bonus: they don’t need to treat or dye the fabric to get the color we want. The mill is able to mix already-dyed fibers to create color, rather than shearing new wool and treating and dyeing the fibers.

Is there any difference in the performance of virgin wool vs. recycled wool? Why do we love our recycled wool products so much?

There is no difference in the performance or feel of virgin wool compared to recycled wool. It performs well outdoors, features high quality materials, and respects the planet and its animals. Oh, and these help too:

Compared To Virgin Wool, Recycled Wool Is Still:

  • Warmth without weight
  • Extremely durable when properly cared for
  • Comfortable, breathable, and moisture wicking
  • Renewable, biodegradable, and recyclable
  • How did prAna decide to start using recycled wool?
  • Working with recycled wool wasn’t necessarily an initiative we set out to achieve when we started this program.
  • The sustainability stars aligned, and we happened to be in the right place at the right time.

When sourcing fabrics for our wool mid layer program, we fell in love with the beautiful wool fabrics that come out of Prato, Italy.

They looked into the material further, they discovered they were being made from recycled wool. Up to this point, we didn’t even know this type of quality recycled wool existed.

From there, it just made sense: when you know, you know. Sustainability is Everyone’s Responsibility.

Sustainability is part of everyone’s job description at prAna. Every single employee is expected to strive for more responsible and eco-conscious practices, no matter how big or small they may seem.

This includes you: next time you think about purchasing a product with wool in it, make it recycled. Ask about the wool used in your garments.

You can have a tremendous impact on the planet and its animals, and help inspire friends, family, and other brands to make the same choice.

  1. This is actually very good to see here and this is really awesome to see here. Prana actually offers something worthwhile gingered towards saving this generation from destroying the earth in our pursuit for new things. Actually being ale to get recycled cotton is actually great as that would save a great deal of natural elements from falling again to all these. Thanks so much
